Dream images (Visual Studies)

These are the three images that I have created for our dream project, I have gone with the idea of creating things that are unreal, using the bright light to make the object jump out more, but also to resemble death and passing over to the other side, then using objects or my arm to represent the reason for that passing according to the dream, so strangling is represented by the belt in the shape of a noose, which could be consider to represent suicide, more than strangulation, but in some ways the dream is a self-inflicted event so to me still works to illustrate that, then you have my fist clenched, which obviously represents the beating side of it, I also made it come in from the top because the intruder has the power in the dream, so that elevated position give it a bit more of a presence. Then finally you have the tunnel which is meant to be dying and going to the other side, but it could also be seen as the eyes beginning to close as suffocation kicks in and the victim begins to pass out.
