Salvador Dali (Independent Research)

I am putting some work of Salvador Dali on because it’s some of the first work that I knew and really liked, and has all ways been something that has inspired me, I think it’s particularly because the images at a glance don’t make sense, but if you look at them more and examine them you can find some meaning of the works, I’m also fond of surreal art, it’s something that I find interesting because it makes you think and it’s different, it’s different from reality but it often depicts things from the really world, a great example is of Dali’s is a painting of clocks and of them melting which to me resembles time, and how we lose track of it and it slips away from use. But that’s why I like work like this because it’s open to interpretation a lot, and it’s also very strange, it’s weird which I find more interesting that more conventional images or paintings. I’ve also included a photograph of Dali, I can’t remember who took it but I’ll try and find it, but I’ve included it because I thought it was an excellent example of how painting and painters can influence photographs, and with surreal art being something that I’m interested in it’s something for me to consider with work that I might want to do, and it’s also a really interesting photograph.
